郊区一所中学的校长在供职多年后终于卸任，雄心勃勃的副校长尼尔·甘比（丹尼·麦克布耐德 Danny McBride 饰）和李·拉塞尔（沃尔顿·戈金斯 Walton Goggins 饰）都盯着空下来的校长宝座，却遭遇空降的新对手贝林达·布朗博士（金博利·赫伯特·格雷戈里 Kimberly Hebert Gregory 饰）。势同水火的两人暂时搁置龃龉勾结成盟，只为不惜一切手段整垮外人。
