OVA第五季《噬血狂袭FINAL》确定制作，官方日前宣布了这个消息。动画《噬血狂袭》改编自三云岳斗所创作，麻喵子（担当插画的同名轻小说作品。讲述世界最强吸血鬼与剑巫少女所编制的故事，“第四真祖”——那是本应只存在于传说中的，世界最强的吸血鬼。驾驭着十二只眷兽、播撒灾厄的幻之吸血鬼，出现在了日本。为了监视、抹杀那个“第四真祖”，政府·狮子王机关决定派遣被称为“剑巫”的攻魔师。然而不知为何，被选为监视者的，却是见习中的“剑巫”少女，姬柊雪菜。雪菜携带着专门对真祖使用的最强灵枪，造访魔族特区“弦神市”。
樱井雪乃（柚木凉香 配音）和樱井奏（生天目仁美 配音）是一对双胞胎，两人自打出生起就从来没有分开过，彼此间的关系之亲密可想而知。如今，升上高中的两人依然享受着充满了平静和幸福的“二人世界”，哪知道，一个名叫神山咲夜（加藤英美里 配音）的女孩子的出现将姐妹两人的日常生活给 搅乱了。 奏发现，咲夜似乎和雪乃走得很近，奏误以为两人之间产生了情愫，克制住了内心的失落，奏决定避开雪乃，为他们制造一点私人空间。就这样，一直都是形影不离的姐妹两人渐渐疏远，在此过程中，雪乃终于意识到了自己心中深藏的对于奏的感情，一番波折之后，两人终于互相表白了心意，从此幸福的生活在一起。

为揭开秦烈里魂的秘密，本季中时光将回朔到秦烈刚刚加入器具宗外宗之时。彼时秦烈经李牧指点，为了寻找凌语诗，秦烈排除障碍通过了器具宗试炼，加入外宗。在唐思琪的指点下开始进行日常修炼。 由于在入宗考试中惹恼了唐思琪，秦烈在宗门内的生活处处被大师姐刁难。天长日久，二人之间竟然产生了一些不可名状的情愫。而这些也都被意图篡取宗门之位的梁少扬看在了眼里。期初梁少扬只是为了宗主之位接近唐思琪，但经过一段日子的接触，梁少扬也对大师姐产生了特殊的感觉……
在剧中，原来砍伐树木的光头强变身成为一名导游，在熊大、熊二的帮助下，去往森林深处找寻儿时玩伴东北虎，但不料森林里蜘蛛、毒蛇、反派与陷阱等危机四伏，让找寻变得困难重重，而新加入的女性角色鬼马精灵赵琳，又让这段冒险旅程更加刺激精彩。众人齐心协力，在艰难险阻中一路向前，给人以出乎意料的想像空间与观看感受。

The second season premiere is scheduled for a global launch around September–November 2017 in Europe, At a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2017, it was announced that the second season would have its North American release on Netflix in December 2017, with 13 episodes to be released. KidsClick will start airing season 2 of this show in the US starting 30 August 2018, marking the first time that Season 2 of this show airing on American over-the-air television. A third season is also in development. On 22 January 2018, Zag posted on Instagram that the crew was working on a fourth and fifth season. On 31 August premiered a new series with Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir which this time is in chibi style. On 5 September, 2018, Skydance Media has acquired the live-action film and live-action television rights.
